Static Var Generator
KLD-SVG series static var generators can quickly and bi-directionally regulate the reactive power of the AC power grid, and have very fast and accurate compensation capability for the impulse reactive power.
With the development of power electronics technology, a variety of non-linear and time-varying electronic equipment are used on a large scale and the requirements for the power supply system are getting higher and higher, thus the traditional commonly used shunt capacitor compensation mode has been unable to meet the demands of controlling some of the distribution system with impulse loads (such as welding machines, rolling mills, Banbury mixers, etc.). As one of the core equipment and technology of FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System), the Static Reactive Generator SVG is used in the distribution system to realize continuous and rapid reactive power compensation from inductive to capacitive, effectively suppressing voltage fluctuation and system oscillation, improving three-phase imbalance of loads and enhancing system stability. It is the optimal solution in the field of reactive power control.
KLD-SVG series low-voltage static var generator provides a new type of compensation mode that makes breakthrough of the traditional capacitor and electric motor reactive power compensation theory. It integrates power electronic technology, computer technology and modern control technology, and can quickly regulate the reactive power of AC power grid. It also has very effective capability for regulating the reactive power impact, static reactive power and reactive power in under-voltage conditions, and has the functions of voltage adjustment and harmonic suppression, which is an ideal choice for stabilizing the voltage and improving the power factor. At the same time, it gains significant benefits from energy saving and consumption reduction, and capacity increase of the power supply equipments.
It adopts gate turn-off power electronic component (IGBT) to form a self-commutated bridge circuit, and adjusts the amplitude and phase of the output voltage on the AC side through IGBT to quickly absorb or generate the required reactive power, realizing the purpose of rapid dynamic regulation of reactive power.
